JCIE Beauty began in Perth with a simple frustration: almost everything on the shelf was either gentle and useless, or effective and punishing. Very little was made for skin that wanted both, and even less was made for skin that had been treated as an afterthought.
Why we started
This is the part of the page that only you can write, and it is the part people read most. Three or four honest paragraphs about who started JCIE Beauty, what you were dealing with in your own skin or hair, and the moment you decided to make something better. What we believe
We do not think you are broken. Most beauty marketing works by finding something wrong with you first and selling you the fix second. We would rather start somewhere else: you were given a crown, and looking after it properly, generously, with ingredients that actually do something, is a form of gratitude, not vanity.
That belief shapes what we make. Nothing in the range promises to make you someone else. Every formula is built to help the skin and hair you already have look and feel like the best version of itself.
How we make it
Every product is blended and bottled in Australia, in small runs, and shipped from our home in Perth. Small batches mean fresher formulas and tighter control, and it means when something is not right, we can fix it quickly rather than waiting out a container of stock.
We choose actives that have a reason to be there: aloe vera juice and vitamin E for calm, Kakadu plum for its vitamin C, organic rosewater for comfort, grapeseed and licorice root for balance, and tranexamic, azelaic and kojic acids where a job needs doing. No long ingredient lists for the sake of looking impressive.
Who it is for
Anyone. The range is built to work across skin types, tones and textures: the dry patches, the marks that linger longer than they should, the hair that has been through it. If you have been reading ingredient lists for years and still not finding what you need, start with a cleanser and a treatment and build from there.
